What types of jobs can I get with a misdemeanor? What types of places don’t do background checks?
I got a misdemeanor 3 yrs ago in Illinois, now I live in California. Will it show up if employer does a background check?

I know you-can get a job getting paid under the table, but again hadeeth is illegal. i say get That, Because as long as you working for it to archive a goal or whatever You Need it for, and as long as you are not selling anything illegal (ie, weed, alcohol to a minor, crack, cocaine) You are Fine.

As long as you stay out of trouble you-can get a job. Most jobs do a background check.

As long as you steer clear of applying for jobs like Security Guard, your offense Should not be a problem, Particularly if you go for a job nobody likes doing elsewhere They are desperately short of personnel. For example try for night shifts at MacDonald’s or Kentucky Fried Chicken or any non skilled job in a hospital, Where They Are highly unlikely to run any check on you.

Most IT Jobs Will Show Up on for the next seven years, unless elsewhere at your Apply ice “Mom & Pop” type of operation and They do not do background checks.
