If a was arrested California but never charged can that come up in a background check?
Im Trying to get a job in California and it Involve driving. Two years ago a was arrested for DUI but when i went to court They said no charges havebeen filed. So i wonted to know if That Can Come Up in a background check. Thanks for your time!

No it Will not show up. Plenty of people are arrested AND Charged but are found not guilty and Their backgrounds are clear. But, if you are unsure, the best thing to do Would be to do a background check on yourself.

The California Department of Justice Will probably HAVE A record of the arrest and Sometimes It Is Difficult to get it cleared up, even if you Were not tried. I’m not sure if It would come up in a background check. However, if you were factually innocent of the crime you were arrested for (That is, the true facts demonstrator That You did not commit the crime), California Provides a procedure in Which You Can Have The Record Destroyed. The place to start is to go to the police station Where You were arrested and ask for the form for an expungement based on factual innocence.
